Guttermouth is an American punk rock band formed in 1988 in Huntington Beach, California and currently recording for Volcom Entertainment. They have released nine full-length studio albums and two live albums and have toured extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are infamous for their outrageous lyrics and behavior which are deliberately explicit, offensive and intended to shock, though usually in a humorous and sarcastic manner. This behavior has sometimes resulted in high-profile problems for the band, such as being banned from performing in Canada for a year and leaving the 2004 Warped Tour amidst controversy over their political views and attitudes towards other performers.

In 2005 drummer Ty Smith left Guttermouth to focus on his new band Bullets and Octane and was replaced by Ryan Farrell. Bass player Kevin Clark departed the following year and founding member Clint Weinrich returned to the group. This lineup recorded the band's tenth album Shave the Planet, released in 2006 by Volcom Entertainment. The album found the band once again using their brand of humorous punk rock to poke fun at a number of subjects. Guttermouth continues to tour and perform in support of the album.

The Grim started in 1983 playing parties in the San Fernando Valley. Their music appeared on numerous compilation records released by Mystic Records. In 1984 Mystic released their self titled debut record known as the "orange album". You may have seen it as a back drop in the movie "Pretty In Pink". The Grim toured the country with NOFX, Scared Straight and others. Played with bands like Social Distortion, Bad Religon, NOFX, Minutemen, Dr. Know, Killroy (They're playing again, let's all support them. You said you would if they ever got together again and now they did. Keep your word!), Dickies, Johnny And The Dingbats, Tourist, Aggression, Pennywise, RF-7, Vandals, GBH (on their equipment), Black Mass, Descendants, Caustic Notions, Insolence, Drowning Roses, Agression, Face To Face, M.I.A., RKL, No Use For A Name, Ill Repute, Slang, Transition, M.D., Blast!, Buglamp, Battalion Of Saints, Glue Gun, The Wallflowers, Circle Jerks, Bad Religon. The song, "Saipan Death March" by The Grim was one of the most requested songs on the Rodney On The ROQ show in 1984. In 1986 Mystic Records released a Super Seven Inch record featuring 4 songs by The Grim recorded in a television studio, entitled "Live To Die". In 1987 The Grim recorded an album for Mystic that was eventually released on Alchemy Records called The Grim "Face Of Betrayel". In 1988 Mystic released a live 7 inch of The Grim "Live At Fenders".
The band ended in the mid 90's and Tim started working for NOFX on tour. The band did a couple of reunion shows in early 2001 with the original members. But since Jordan was in Strung Out it was short lived due to his touring with them.
Fast forward to 2010 the band reformed with 3 new members. Tim decided to take control and reform the Grim one last time. Tim was always talking with with ex Jughead's Revenge bassist Brian Preiss about starting up a new band. But Brian convinced him to reform the Grim. When he decided to call Bob and tell him of his plans, Bob agreed to do the Grim one more time.
Fed up of looking for an old drummer from some old contacts from the past. The band put out a craigslist ad and recruited Garrett Dyer on drums. Also Jeff Yearsley was asked to play 2nd guitar. Jeff was a fellow band mate and friend of Brian's from the early punk rock days and was always a big Grim fan. The band played their first show with the new line up opening up for the adolescents in the summer of 2010. Countless shows later their old record label mystic records in the spring of 2011 decided to release a best of cd with all the hard to find records on one disc.
